The Data Analyst role focuses on implementing process improvements and creating dashboards and metrics that drive change within the Aftermarket business. Day-to-day activities include meeting with key departments to understand the current state and suggest enhancements that support sales, protect margins, and increase efficiency. The position serves as a primary source of sales support and operational insight.
Core duties involve collaborating with team members and Aftermarket groups to execute data-analytic initiatives. The analyst will acquire business understanding by communicating with internal experts, external partners, and industrial researchers. Responsibilities include discovering, acquiring, preparing, and maintaining datasets from diverse sources to support analyses and ad-hoc requests. Results are presented using data visualization techniques, charts, and dashboards for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, STEM, or a related field, together with three or more years of data-centric experience, or a graduate degree in data science with applicable experience. Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI, as well as experience with data extraction, modeling, and visualization, is required. Advanced Excel and VBA skills are preferred, along with highly organized, detail-oriented, critical-thinking abilities. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks independently and collaboratively.
The position entails frequent physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, and typing, with occasional driving and manual dexterity tasks. Compensation ranges from $73,200 to $117,800 depending on experience, education, and scope of responsibilities, supplemented by a competitive total-rewards package.
