• Your primary focus will be to ensure that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems are meticulously designed and integrated, adhering to industry regulations while enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of our luxury residential projects.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior engineers and drafters, fostering a professional development environment through guidance and task delegation.
• Innovation & Tech Adoption: Actively pursue emerging technologies in MEP design to enhance efficiency and implement innovative, sustainable solutions.
• Stakeholder & Client Management: Effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, particularly in high-end projects where expectations for comfort, efficiency, and aesthetic excellence are paramount.
• Design Leadership: Drive the comprehensive development and innovative design of MEP systems, ensuring strict compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Leadership & Delegation: Inspire and empower junior engineers and drafters, emphasizing mentorship and clear communication of expectations.
• BIM Implementation: Leverage Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to enhance design precision, coordinate efforts, and offer superior project visualization.
• Coordination: Collaborate effectively with architects, structural engineers, and other key stakeholders to create a seamless integration of building design that marries functional MEP systems with aesthetic elegance.
• Cost and Schedule Management: Oversee budgets and timelines pertinent to MEP design and execution, ensuring financial responsibility while meeting project deadlines.
• Plan Review: Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of MEP drawings and specifications, assuring accuracy and adherence to relevant codes and regulations.

Requirements

• Teamwork: Proven history of effective collaboration within cross functional teams to optimize project outcomes through shared expertise.
• Coordination & Integration: Proficient in seamlessly integrating MEP systems into the overall design framework without jeopardizing timelines or aesthetic integrity.
• A minimum of 5+ years of comprehensive experience in MEP design and project management, specifically within the luxury villa, high-end residential, or hospitality sectors.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD (must), Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, HAP, and Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Execution & Problem Solving: Ensure smooth execution from design through implementation, demonstrating proficiency in early detection of potential design conflicts.
• Costing & Value Engineering: Comprehensive understanding of budgeting practices for MEP design, capable of proposing efficient and sustainable alternatives.
• Total Experience in MEP Execution:
• Technical and Design Expertise: Demonstrated precision in reviewing MEP specifications and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards; skilled in BIM/Revit and AutoCAD for optimal design coordination and clash detection.
• Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design principles.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at guiding teams and conveying ideas to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Problem Solving Abilities: Strong capability in identifying, analysing, and resolving intricate technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational and time management skills to effectively balance multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• This position requires robust technical knowledge, innovative design thinking, and exceptional communication skills.
