Join us as Project Controls Associate, a key member of the Delivery team responsible for supporting management and delivery of project schedule, risk, budget and document management for major capital projects within the Company.
- Document control: Support the management of project documents and maintenance of associated EDMS software in accordance with applicable PMO processes and procedures
- Risk management: Support the management of project risks, evidencing the same on risk registers and devising contingency provisions based on Monte Carlo analysis in accordance with applicable PMO processes and procedures
- Schedule management: Support the management of project schedules for actual progress, latest forecasts and identifying key variances and recommending mitigating actions in accordance with applicable PMO processes and procedures
- Budget control: Support the management of project budgets, actuals and forecasts and associated cash calls in accordance with applicable PMO processes and procedures
- Reporting and analysis: Support ad hoc analysis and monthly project reporting ensuring accurate information is readily available to key stakeholders on all PMO / project controls disciplines.

- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience of using Primavera P6 and/or MS Projects, risk and document management system(s) desired.
- High level of competence in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- An eye for detail and ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Good technical understanding of energy-related project scopes
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to present complex information in a simple way
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Experience working within major capital project environment and good understanding of project schedules, risk registers, budgets and document control.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ideally 3 years of previous experience in working within a PMO / Project Controls office in the energy sector or similar field
- Degree qualified in engineering, quantity surveying, business or related field APM qualification preferred
- Excellent communication skills
