This position offers the chance to work within a project‑team environment focused on designing, modifying, and upgrading electrical systems for new and existing power plants. Reporting to the Electrical Project Lead, you will collaborate with multi‑disciplinary engineering and design teams.
Key deliverables include the creation of single‑line, relay and metering, AC and DC schematic, synchronizing, point‑to‑point wiring diagrams, and cable schedules. You will also produce detailed electrical wiring drawings and integrate vendor drawings into the overall project design.
Opportunities exist to accompany and assist in field walk‑downs and data‑gathering at client facilities, and the role requires the ability to obtain an unescorted badge for access to a nuclear station. The position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring three days per week on‑site.

Candidates must have an Associate’s degree in drafting or a high school diploma with equivalent technical design experience, plus at least 12 years of detailed wiring design experience on medium‑voltage and 480 V systems. Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, familiarity with digital control systems, and strong communication skills for interfacing with other engineering disciplines are essential.
