- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and technical documentation to support engineering designs and manufacturing processes
- Provide technical leadership and support to production teams on development of processes and systems
- Support the delivery of capital works program
- Analyse production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste. This includes business case, design and implementation of mechanical improvements to existing and new plant and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain
- Project Management of the delivery of projects ranging from minor mechanical/ electrical improvements to large scale procurement and commissioning
- Support engineers and drafting technicians to ensure deliverables are achieved in accordance with business priorities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing issues

- Background in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering or similar
- Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Problem-solving abilities and data analysis skills
- Expertise in manufacturing processes, equipment and tools
- Experience in supervising cross-functional teams and projects
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar and other engineering tools
- Several years of experience in manufacturing engineering role with increasing responsibility.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
