Competent in engineering, procurement, contracting, construction, and startup processes, in accordance with Bechtel's operational standards.
Demonstrated experience in executing, monitoring, and evaluating cost engineering activities, including cost estimation, cost control, and cost analysis.
Experience reviewing designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate.
Thorough knowledge of financial reporting systems and controller account codes, as well as a solid understanding of relevant Controller instructions that affect Project Controls
Experience performing cost trend estimates in support of project cost trend programs.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
Experience with preparation of cost studies utilizing historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons. Develops innovative new techniques to meet specific needs, as required.
