Senior Interior Designer- Hospitality

Description

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead the design and execution of interior spaces that satisfy both functional and aesthetic client needs, handling project management, client collaboration, design development, vendor coordination, regulatory compliance, and staying abreast of design trends.

• Manage projects independently from concept through completion, delivering presentations, drawings, and meeting contractual deadlines.
• Communicate the company’s brand through design, presentations, and professional conduct.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and team to translate design needs into actionable project requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to obtain cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions.
• Supervise projects onsite and remotely, maintaining clear written and verbal communication with all parties.
• Build strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Produce 3D/2D presentations, mood boards, mock‑ups, and renderings aligned with client vision.
• Organize and maintain the materials library, ensuring stocked samples support design narratives.
• Oversee FF&E procurement, create specifications and schedules, and coordinate logistics.
• Ensure high‑level organization and timely completion of administrative tasks within the team.
• Represent the company at industry events, speaking engagements, and on social media when needed.
• Lead the interior design department, mentoring the 3D team and interns, and managing performance.
• Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends to maintain studio relevance and competitiveness.

Requirements

Success in this role requires extensive experience in hospitality, luxury residential, and commercial markets within the UAE, strong creative and management skills, a proven track record of completed projects in Dubai, a robust supplier network, the ability to present and manage third parties, contractors, and client expectations, as well as team leadership, clear instruction communication, and independent delivery of projects from start to finish.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Interior Design with at least 7 years of UAE‑based experience.
• Proven interior design experience with a strong creative passion.
• Experience in luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial interior design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Photoshop, SketchUp, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong creative, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to execute and manage teams.
• Excellent reporting and writing skills in English.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Flexibility and availability for international travel as business needs require.
