Structural Tekla Designer (Power)

Description

• Checking General Arrangement Drawing
• Preparation of concrete layouts and reinforcement detail drawings
• Execute design changes and project drawing revisions
• Connection checking of all kinds of Members
• Preparation & checking of Detail Drawing and Erection Drawing
• Modeling of pipe supports, Equipment Foundations, Pipe sleepers etc
• Interference Check with other disciplines and resolution of Inter-Disciplinary Clashes
• Preparation of Steel, Concrete & reinforcement MTOs using Tekla Software
• Modeling rebar in Concrete foundations for Structural Buildings, Control Rooms, GSU, Stacks, Pumps and Skids
• Modeling of Steel structures like Pipe racks, platforms, Equipment support structures, Conveyor support structures etc
• Modeling of Staircases, Ladders and Handrails
• Responsible for Structural modeling of Structures for Power Generation using Tekla Software.

Requirements

• Good communication skills and ability to self-check and produce accurate work
• Expert knowledge of Shop & Field Drawings in Structural detailing
• Expert design software understanding of Tekla & AutoCAD is preferred
• Ability to independently complete required Modelling & Detailing
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Is desirable, with a minimum of 2 to 6 years of related experience
• Knowledge of Tekla Software in US details
• Ability to work collaboratively with others (Engineers and Designers both in Mumbai and the United States) in a multi-discipline project team environment to resolve design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives
