The Product Manager- EVSE is responsible for leading the product strategy and lifecycle management for PEC's EVSE product line. The Product Manager will drive innovation in electric vehicle charging solutions while balancing market demands, technical feasibility, and business objectives. Working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams, this role translates customer needs and market trends into competitive product offerings that advance clean transportation infrastructure while delivering revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This is primarily office-based work with occasional travel to customer sites and industry events.
Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate across departments to deliver successful products
Market & Customer Intelligence: Identify market opportunities and translate into product requirements
- Work with sales teams to communicate product value propositions and support customer engagement
- Monitor product performance metrics and implement improvements to drive growth and customer satisfaction
- Continuous analysis of the EV charging market to identify emerging needs and competitive positioning
- Create compelling business cases for new product initiatives and secure executive approval
- Financial analysis and business case development for new product initiatives and existing product enhancements
- Strategic planning and execution of the product vision for EV charging solutions aligned with company growth targets
- Analyze market dynamics, including competitor offerings, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing products and expand the EVSE portfolio
- Stay current on EV charging standards, protocols, and industry developments
- Conduct regular voice-of-customer research to inform product decisions
- End-to-end management of product development processes, from ideation to market introduction and continuous improvement
- Define product specifications and work closely with engineering to ensure successful development
- Drive forward-thinking initiatives that anticipate industry trends in electric vehicle infrastructure
- Collaborate with marketing to develop positioning, messaging, and launch strategies for EVSE products
- Develop pricing strategies that balance market competitiveness with profitability goals
- Gather and prioritize product requirements from various stakeholders including customers, sales, and technical teams
- Effective coordination between engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure successful product development and launch
- Lead cross-functional teams through product development milestones and launch readiness
- Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap for EVSE solutions based on customer insights, market trends, and business objectives

A valid, insurable driver's license is required.
This position will be based in-person in our Chandler, AZ or Vancouver, WA office.

The hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $126,000
