Project Manager-Environmental

Description

• Responsible for the management projects ensuring the successful completion of projects within established schedules and budgets.
• Responsible for supporting the development of proposal scopes of work and cost estimates using internal cost estimating tools.
• Responsible for direct interface with clients to communicate on scope of work, schedule, and budget.
• Direct the project work of staff on all active projects.
• Prepare and approve project invoices
• Communicating to client and project teams
• Ensuring quality work performance, adherence to safety and compliance to schedule and budget
• Planning and organizing projects
• Manage day-to-day costs against budgets
• Cultivate strong relationships with APTIM team members and clients in order to successfully deliver projects within designated timeframes.

Requirements

• Experience managing staff and projects for the commercial client industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a core science (such as geology, chemistry), engineering, environmental science, environmental policy, or related area preferred.
• Experience managing environmental compliance requirements for the commercial client industry.
• Willing to work in the field and travel to complete work.
• 10 years related experience
• Prior experience or training regarding environmental compliance and related federal and state environmental regulations desirable.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience
• Strong computer skills required. Must have a demonstrated strength and proficiency in Microsoft applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint Online, etc. and the ability to learn other software applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
