The EHS Coordinator will support projects in the Arlington location by executing assigned tasks and learning basic techniques within the environmental health and safety domain. The role is responsible for all activities related to worker safety and health, including risk identification, hazard assessment, environmental control, prevention training, data recording and analysis, and providing technical advice to employees.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering or a related field, or possess equivalent experience. A minimum of two to three years of EHS experience—preferably in manufacturing, construction or renewable energy—is required, and certifications such as CSP or OHST are preferred. Required skills include strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, analytical problem‑solving, effective communication, training design, and proficiency with EHS software and Microsoft Office.
The position involves both office and field work, requiring regular site walk‑arounds and occasional exposure to outdoor weather and industrial settings. Key competencies are attention to detail, safety excellence, sound decision‑making, accountability, and adaptability to shifting priorities.
