Lead investigations into incidents and near misses using the ICAM Incident Investigation Process, ensuring proper reporting and closure.
Implement and oversee the Safety Management Plan, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, including client's project safety standards and programmes.
Coordinate and conduct health and safety audits, including those performed by the Contractor's WSHOs and WSHCs, to ensure compliance with Client requirements and the Safety Management Plan.
Collaborate with the Client's Corporate QHSE Manager/Officer and JV company representatives on reporting, audits, and site visits.
Proactively demonstrate and promote the correct safety culture across the project site.
Review and approve Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Job Safety Risk Assessments (JSRA) submitted by contractors.
Develop and deliver basic health, safety, and environment (HSE) training to project team members and workers.
Log all safety incidents and near misses into IndustrySafe and notify the AECOM SHE Manager as required.
Monitor and submit weekly and monthly Safety Joint Inspection reports, incorporating observations from AECOM-appointed sites and field-based staff.
Maintain accurate health and safety records, including safety statistics, lead and lag indicators, and ensure correct reporting of data.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure regulatory standards and safety requirements are enforced at the Project Site.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
Possess Specialist Diploma in WSH or other MOM-recognized qualifications.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with management, staff, and contractors.
Be available for work rotation, including extended working hours, Sundays, and public holidays as required.
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or related industries.
