Industrial Maintenance Tech

Description

• Occasionally maintain and repair physical structure to our buildings and grounds, including snow removal, basic plumbing, HVAC and carpentry.
• Perform regular and preventative maintenance to prevent unexpected downtime.
• Collaborate closely with Machine Operators to understand machine issues and leverage their knowledge to find solutions.
• Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment including PLCs, CNC controls, conveyors, and power systems.
• Leadership & Documentation: Mentor team members and assist with SOP development.
• Corrective & Preventive Maintenance: Perform repairs, lubrication, and scheduled upkeep on machinery and facility structures.
• Installation & Upgrades: Install wiring, piping, and mechanical components; read blueprints; ensure safe operation.
• You'll be working with things such as PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and determine the best adjustment or repair.
• You'll be working on industrial machines and supporting pieces of equipment that our employees use in their daily jobs.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience (5+ years industrial electromechanical).
• Associates degree in Electromechanics or related field; OR an apprenticeship in Electromechanical Maintenance; OR a high school diploma / GED and 2+ years of experience with electrical, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine shop tools
• Skilled in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems; conveyors and related components.
• Ability to read/modify schematics and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and computer skills (MS Word/Excel).
• 2+ years of experience with controls wiring (120/240/480 volts), AC and DC motor drive controls, multi-meter, amp-meter, oscilloscope, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Welding experience a plus
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
