Work with project managers on strategic pursuits, including proposal development and client meetings, and help to maintain strong relationships with key planning leaders within the Southeast/Mid-Atlantic region.
Participate in strategic growth initiatives to expand TRCs client and delivery footprint across the southeast
Develop client sales through direct client contact with a goal to capture new and follow-on work, expand TRC service offerings, and support TRC value propositions.
Identify and develop new business opportunities, and delivery of responsive, high quality services for to the environmental sector (e.g., air, water, waste water, storm water, sustainability, and remediation).
Lead team selling of $1.5M+ yearly Net Revenue of environmental compliance, engineering, and remediation services to new and existing clients.
Perform in a 80% Seller/20% Doer business model
Review RFQs and assist in preparing proposals.

Demonstrated success selling and delivering environmental compliance and/or investigation and remediation services through a consulting/engineering firm in Southeast region.
Effective in developing and making presentations to potential clients, especially in conference settings.
Staff management or operational experience is a plus.
Strong communications skills both written and oral.
Candidates should have a network of client contacts in the Southeast market, and possess strong business development and project management skills.
Extensive experience working with manufacturing and industrial clients.
Ability to interface well with and develop a rapport and positive relationship with our clients and employees.
Demonstrated experience in preparing proposals and managing work.
Demonstrated track record in client development in an environmental consulting/ engineering and/or environmental construction management services business model.
Bachelors in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related field of study at a minimum with a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience
