Element is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to handle AP duties across multiple labs and locations. The role involves daily upkeep of accounts payable, responding to vendor and laboratory inquiries, ensuring invoices are entered into the accounting system, and making timely payments. The specialist works closely with the AP lead and a team of AP Specialists.
- Build friendly relationships with vendors and assigned Element labs.
- Analyze accounts, obtain missing invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain a spreadsheet tracking invoice status and review weekly with labs.
- Enter, code, date‑stamp, and file invoices in the accounting system.
- Conduct check runs, pull invoices for payment, and deliver checks (including postage and overnight services).
- Serve as the primary AP contact for the assigned lab and its vendors.

The position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite at the Blue Ash location and two days remote.
- Minimum 3 years of multi‑site accounts payable experience (or 1 year plus a relevant college degree).
- Ability to read and interpret accounting documents and perform basic math calculations.
- Strong communication skills with internal teams and external vendors.
- Excellent analytical ability and knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
- Proven problem‑resolution and attention‑to‑detail capabilities.
- Proficiency with accounting software systems.
- Ability to stay calm under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
