The Quality Engineer is responsible for quality assurance of motors and gearboxes, actively driving quality assurance processes.
You will own the in‑process, final, and customer quality of manufactured parts, analyse customer complaints and generate corrective action reports, and liaise with international customers on quality issues. You will prepare quality plans, determine inspection and testing parameters, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using 7QC, SPC, and Six Sigma tools. Additionally, you will conduct process audits and provide training to engineers and operators on quality systems.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Planning leaders, as well as external customers, sales, and marketing teams.
The role requires the ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop inspection methodologies, along with solid knowledge of FMEA, 7QC tools, SPC, MSA, and the 8D problem‑solving method. Experience with Six Sigma, error‑proofing (poka‑yoke), and ISO 9001 quality standards is essential.
A B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering and approximately five to six years of experience in manufacturing, preferably within machining or electro‑mechanical component production, are required.
