Manufacturing Engineer

Description

Key responsibilities include monitoring progress, ensuring quality and schedule compliance, and maintaining detailed logs. The engineer will write work instructions, job aids, standard work, and technical specifications for equipment procurement, as well as design tools and equipment to improve manufacturing processes. Hands‑on troubleshooting, recipe development in digital environments, data compilation, analysis, reporting, and the creation of graphics for presentations are also required. Participation in Kaizen and Process Excellence events using Lean methodology to continuously improve manufacturing flows is expected.

• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality and schedule requirements.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of manufacturing activities.
• Write work instructions, job aids, standard work, and technical specifications for equipment procurement.
• Design tools and equipment to develop and improve manufacturing processes.
• Perform hands‑on troubleshooting and develop process recipes in digital environments.
• Compile, analyze, and report data; create graphics for presentations.
• Use engineering software to conduct analyses and provide technical data.
• Lead and participate in Kaizen and Process Excellence events using Lean methodology.
• Collaborate with engineers on complex assignments and provide effective engineering support.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or possess an equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated accomplishments. The role requires effective communication and the ability to resolve routine problems.
