The Work Winning Lead is responsible for leading the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all work winning activities across the organization. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end work winning process, ensuring alignment with business development goals, driving continuous improvement in work winning operations, and maintaining high-quality standards in proposal submissions.

This role will work closely with the Executive Team, Business Development, Design and Technical teams to align bid efforts with organizational objectives, commercial strategies, and client expectations.

  • Review and sign off all major bid submissions to ensure compliance, quality, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, consultants, and suppliers contributing to bid proposals.
  • Identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and market intelligence to inform bid positioning.
  • Standardize bid processes, procedures, tools, templates, and governance mechanisms across the organization.
  • Support contract negotiations and handover processes post-award to ensure smooth transition to delivery teams.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Communications for branding, visual storytelling, and impactful presentation of proposals.
  • Provide strategic oversight on all high-value and complex bids, including solution design, pricing strategy, win themes, and client engagement.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on bid performance, pipeline activity, and resource requirements.
  • Oversee the qualification of opportunities (Bid/No-Bid decisions) in consultation with senior leadership and commercial teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Work Winning team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Lead and manage the entire bids and proposals function across all sectors and geographies in which the company operates.
  • Champion the use and development of a centralized work winning library, knowledge management systems, and proposal content database.
  • Ensure continuous improvement by conducting bid reviews, lessons learned, and performance tracking on win/loss ratios.
  • Develop and implement the firm’s work winning strategy, aligning with long-term business goals and revenue targets.

  • Experience working in the Middle East is highly desirable.
