- Interpret and enforce health and safety regulations for electric transmission and distribution projects.
- Conduct safety meetings, on‑site assessments, and periodic inspections; identify hazards and recommend mitigation.
- Ensure contractor compliance with regulatory requirements and company safety policies.
- Develop and implement training programs and promote a proactive safety culture among workers.
- Review accident/incident reports, participate in investigations, and ensure corrective actions are documented.
- Maintain safety files, records, and reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local safety laws and standards.
