Description

The Housekeeper role ensures a welcoming, professional environment by keeping all spaces clean, hygienic, and presentable while also supporting food and beverage delivery for staff and residents. This position contributes to resident safety and comfort, working closely with other teams to identify and address any well‑being concerns.

• Follow health and safety regulations and report hazards.
• Provide comprehensive cleaning and meal service as required.
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Respect residents' homes and personal environments.
• Build professional, trustworthy relationships with visitors and staff.
• Assist other teams and flag potential resident well‑being concerns.
• Analyze information, troubleshoot issues, and refer decisions to line manager.

Requirements

• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with diverse audiences.
• Deliver strong customer service and adapt communication style as needed.
• Demonstrate experience in general cleaning, health‑and‑safety knowledge, and passion for quality service.
• Desirable: catering experience, food hygiene knowledge, and background in care or dementia settings.
