WSP provides engineering, design, and consulting services across diverse sectors worldwide.
Conduct Facility Condition Assessment projects throughout the US, assessing buildings and determining physical condition, remaining service life, and compliance with specifications and building codes. Lead teams and mentor other team members.
Assess multiple buildings within large complexes on a daily basis identifying major components and sub-components, as well as supporting systems, while operating in a physically demanding environment. Experience assessing government buildings/portfolios is a plus.
Perform assessments of client facilities using professional expertise and judgment to determine physical condition, remaining service life, and compliance with specifications and building codes.
Use tablet-based computer system to identify and document building systems and components and provide justification for determination of the physical condition.

HS diploma or relevant; BS Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or a Two-year technical college or trade school certification in one of the building trades with relevant experience preferred.
Ability to travel 75% or more and work flexible hours.
9+ years of experience conducting facility condition assessments.
Prior military service in civil engineering, construction, or facilities management (AFCEC, DPW, IMCOM, Seabee, PRIME BEEF, RED HORSE, USACE).
Proficient computer skills, comfortable with technology and hardware, specifically Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
Has the skills to teach a methodology and mentor other team members to achieve success.
Ability to understand and implement project work plans, quality management plans, and lead others to execute based on a client’s requirements.
Good technical writing skills
Experience using mobile computer system devices for field data collection.
Knowledge of facility condition assessment software applications like BUILDER SMS.
Be able to pass a pre-employment screening including but not limited to: criminal background checks, previous employment verification, education verification, drug screening, and motor vehicle records.
Professional Engineers (PE or EIT) or Architects (RA) preferred but not required.
Ability to lead both large and small teams and report team status daily.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, and perform moderate physical activity such as walking and standing, in a physically challenging environment, both indoors and outdoors.
Good mathematical aptitude
Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines.
Valid passport or ability to obtain a valid passport.
Must work well with team members and interact with clients in a positive manner. Must present a clean and professional work appearance, following established dress codes.
