- Provides Program Management for complex cross-functional programs within the Research and Development arena. Independently develops CCPM project plans, interfaces with Technology, Product Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality and Reliability, Supply Chain, Finance, Environmental Health and Safety, and other departments as required.
- Negotiate project goals and develop mitigation plans.
- Takes ownership for overall project schedule; Drives projects to completion on-time and on-budget.
- Builds interfaces between organizations to ensure successful hand-offs.
- Maintain software infrastructure to keep project plans and action items up to date.
- Manage program review meetings, track action items, and motivate program stakeholders.
- Partners with stakeholders to coordinate resources, activities, and priorities for rapid project completion.
- Independently builds project plans around existing technology project portfolio.

- 3 years TOC/CCPM Program Management experience, preferred.
- Communicates clearly, oral and written, across the organization.
- 5 – 7 years’ experience using MS Project or equivalent project management tools.
- Strong assertive characteristics to push projects through to completion.
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to assertively motivate project participants.
- Master’s degree in engineering Discipline, preferred.
- 5 – 7 years’ experience in Program Management.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in all aspects of project planning and execution.
- Intermediate proficiency in project management software – MS Project, Concerto an advantage.
- PMP or PgMP certification, preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in Research and Development environment preferred. Ideally in the area of New Product / Process (development through roll out to high volume manufacturing) and change management of existing technologies and products.
- Bachelor’s degree Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, preferred.
- Demonstrated project management skills in a technology development environment.
- Intermediate understanding of Quality and Reliability requirements to bring new products or processes to manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field, required.
- 0% - 5% (On occasion/as needed for training, etc.)
- Capable of providing program management of 3 to 5 projects simultaneously.
- Intermediate to Advanced negotiation skills to obtain cooperation and commitment to project deliverables.
