Performing load calculations, voltage drop, conduit/cable sizing, lighting and grounding design
Support project construction, commissioning and start-up as well as client site turnaround activities as required.
Ensure compliance with site, global and industry electrical standards and electrical safety, including NEC, IEEE, API, and NFPA 70E and 497.
Perform scope development and create technical specifications for electrical equipment and modifications.
Prepare material requisitions for bid and technical bid evaluation, including reviewing of specifications of equipment, and responding to vendor submittals.
Manage budgets and schedules.
Coordinate with vendors and clients.
Maintain schedule and budget commitments.
Candidates will be required to follow our clients' site-based rules and protocols regarding infectious diseases.
Ensures the appropriate level of troubleshooting, failure analysis and technical solutions are employed.
While performing duties of this job, you would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear (this includes being able to hear and talk on site based communication equipment), distinguish between various colors, be able to hear safety tones/notifications, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, temperature or controls.
Attend and participate in Client and Eichleay project team meetings.
Respond to construction requests for information (RFIs).
Consistently achieve goals, delivering quality and accurate work and meeting project schedules. This includes reviewing project documents for conformity and quality assurance.

Proficiency in developing one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and performing load calculations, voltage drop, conduit/cable sizing, lighting and grounding design
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Bluebeam.
Demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental issues. Address issues as necessary to ensure zero harm to all employees, clients, and contractors with zero environmental incidents.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, API, and IEEE standards for hazardous locations.
Background screening including previous employment, education, criminal history, and driving record verification.
Ability to assemble electrical engineering, drawing and construction work packages for review and approval, that may include one-line diagrams, wiring schematics and other required electrical deliverables.
TWIC Certification and current card or ability to obtain.
Experience with low and medium voltage systems, including power distribution, arc flash analysis, short-circuit studies, and protective device selection and coordination using tools like ETAP, SKM or EasyPower.
Experience with hazardous area classification document preparation, Hazardous area classification analysis, for electrical equipment.
Experience in the development of electrical specifications and calculations.
Participation in random drug and alcohol programs.
RSO Safety Training and current card or ability to obtain.
Client Safety Training and current badge or ability to obtain.
Ability to provide man hour estimates to support proposals and material quantity takeoffs for cost estimates.
Ability to coordinate with other disciplines and project management in a team environment.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
