Confirm conditions adverse to quality are identified, documented, disposition and tracked through acceptance and closure.
Proactively communicate project-specific quality improvement opportunities to the project management team.
Comply with all policies and standards.
Participate in the Task Safety Observations (TSO's) process and define corrective measures for problem areas.
Responsible for recommending enhancements and changes to the Construction Quality Management System.
Provide oversight, guidance, and support for project teams on the development and execution of quality processes.
Develop and issue the Construction Quality Plan based on project-specific specifications, codes and jurisdictional requirements. Communicate Plan requirements to the project management team.
Confirm the Construction Quality Plan aligns with turnover requirements identified in the project contract documents.
Review and confirm compliance of subcontractor quality submittals and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).
Support the Corrective Action resolution process.
Collaborate with the project management team on the set-up and implementation of key quality processes and application methods.
Perform site assessments and audits to confirm compliance with the implemented Construction Quality Management System.
Responsible for coaching, training and mentoring field quality personnel with regards to the Construction Quality Management System including quality verifications required to comply with the specifications.
Assist the project team with set-up and scheduling of Nondestructive Examination and heat treatment activities.
Act as a liaison between the Project Manager and the Authorized Inspector for Code work scopes.
Provide oversight and guidance to project site quality personnel.
Support project sites in confirming quality metrics are consistently tracked and reported.
Comply with all Safety & Health requirements and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards.
