Project Coordinator

Description

• Conduct regular project control meetings
• As a Project Coordinator, the most crucial aspects of the role include ensuring seamless communication among team members and stakeholders, meticulously managing project timelines and budgets, and proactively addressing any issues that arise to keep the project on track.
• Work on arrangements, clearances, project team mobilization/demobilization, travel related tasks
• Undertake specific projects as instructed by management
• Manage inventory/asset list of all non-human resources, issue register, transit documentations
• Support project manager in planning, control and implementation of assigned projects
• Perform various tasks assigned on projects or related to operations
• Comply to organizational HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate among all functional teams and shared services to get the job done
• Prepare and maintain documents like project progress reports, invoices, budget, timesheets, project team deputation records, Project KPI’s etc.
• Maintain all documentation relevant to project (SoW documents, change requests, schedules, risk register etc.)
• Administer the relevant project database
• Maintaining regular and effective communications with clients to develop client / contractor relationships

Requirements

• Able to understand project specific contractual terms and conditions
• Ability to travel domestically and overseas up to 10% of the year.
• Ability to communicate / work with multi-cultural team of technicians and engineers for projects
• Intermediate or Expert level knowledge on Project management or scheduling software (e.g. Primavera, MS Project etc.)
• Project Management qualification / certification
• Relevant experience of effectively supporting project teams
• Ability to work independently in most circumstances and use initiative to propose and implement changes to work practices
• Graduate in engineering with two years of relevant experience, (preferred in Mechanical or allied branch)
• Industrial experience of 5 years, with minimum 3 years’ experience in project coordination related activities.
• Ability to write accurate and concise communications
• Able to read and interpret engineering GA drawings / blueprints
• Demonstrates high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned as well as team goals.
• This role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
• Strong Analytical, problem solving & decision-making skills
• Strong organizing and Planning Skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, Peoplesoft ERP, etc
