What you would be doing
Produces and/or reviews specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports, design calculations, etc. Ensures that they conform to engineering quality, competence and project management system.
Directs or participates in MOC reviews, and other parts of the MOC process as needed. Follows up on sound implementation and closure.
Participates in or reviews various safety studies/activities, such as: PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, QRAs, SIL, Bowtie, compliance reviews, SIMOPS, etc.
Identifies and raises any area of operational and process safety risk and proposes relevant corrective and/or preventive actions.
Manages Contractors in the execution of engineering delivery.
Ensures compliance with project’s requirements on Process Safety to promote a risk-free environment.
Develops and implements process safety procedures, plans, programs, templates and related documentation adapted to the project.
Participates in or reviews risk studies, consequence analyses, e.g., toxic gas dispersion modelling, drop object studies, PHE [Physical Effect Modelling], etc.
Follows up and supports the implementation of the actions related to safety risk assessments and safety studies.
Ensures Project Risk Register is maintained and updated on a regular basis and ensures all risks are mitigated through assigned actions.
