Description

The maintenance technician position focuses on keeping plant equipment operating reliably. The role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting safety inspections, collaborating with colleagues to reduce downtime, and documenting maintenance activities.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

Successful candidates are skilled at diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems, understand safety and preventive maintenance practices, and can work independently while prioritizing tasks. Physical capability to perform duties under varying weather and site conditions is essential, as is a strong attention to detail.

Employment is contingent upon a post‑offer physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check; some roles also require ongoing FMCSA‑regulated testing. The work environment includes exposure to moving equipment, inclement weather, temperature extremes, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
