Provides training for compliance with work process procedures within the discipline of project information management.
Establishes and maintains clear goals and expectations for the organization.
Works with Information Technology management to implement company wide applications for project information and records management.
Has overall responsibility for the direction and management of the Project Information Management department including, but not limited to: budgeting, planning, staffing, goal setting, and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
Coordinates work sharing with other regions and offshore locations.
Conducts periodic audits of project information management processes to ensure accuracy and consistency and verify procedural implementation.
Ensures implementation and compliance of cornerstone applications for project information management.
Works with company, project, and group management to assure compliance with established project execution procedures (PEPs).
Investigates potential solutions for cost savings on projects improving document management processes and applications.
Responsible for the efficient operation and performance of the Project Information Management group.
Identifies, mentors, and develops talent.
Oversees professional development for staff.
Establishes and oversees project information management and project execution policy.
Works with group and company management to correctly identify staffing needs.
Builds collaborative relationships with other organizations.
Supports Company programs and institutes appropriate actions for employee development.
Acts as point of contact for client senior management.
Serves in a project review capacity, as required, to assist project teams to achieve project objectives.
Develops, implements, directs and coordinates project information management policies and procedures consistent with company philosophy and objectives.
