The technician assembles Main, PT, and Reactor cores and related sub‑assemblies following customer specifications, blueprints, bills of material, and standardized operating procedures. They load cores and coils onto the stacking line, stack the core around coil legs, and secure units on pallets aligned with order numbers. Units are labeled, steel‑banded, and built to OPS and quality standards using calibrated tools.
After assembly, each unit is tested with a TTR Tester to verify proper ratio and secure connections, and any issues are troubleshooted. The technician performs rework on damaged components or assemblies to meet quality standards, transports finished racks to storage, and scans units according to the shipping schedule to generate data for oven loading.
The role requires operating a wide range of manual and power‑operated tools—including forklifts, screw guns, air ratchets, welding machines, crimp tools, hydraulic presses, hoists, lead‑cutting machines, and overhead cranes—to move materials and finished products. Routine maintenance on tools and equipment is performed. The job involves lifting up to 40 lb and frequent bending, twisting, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and two‑handed handling.
All work must be performed with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and in compliance with safety standards. The company is an equal‑opportunity employer and complies with federal, state, and local fair‑chance laws; applicants with arrest or conviction histories will be considered. Reasonable accommodations for disabilities can be requested via the provided phone number. Benefits programs are offered, subject to eligibility factors such as location, hire date, and collective bargaining agreements.
