  • Support the QSRA process with the Risk team.
  • Validate schedule estimates using benchmark data and design information (BIM) where available.
  • Identify and manage key internal and external interfaces, including procurement, consents, and dependent projects.
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure full buy-in to project schedules.
  • Work closely with Cost and Risk Management teams to ensure alignment of all estimates and assumptions.
  • Define the Basis of Estimate for the construction schedule scope (including key assumptions and exclusions).
  • Develop and maintain robust, realistic, and practicable construction schedules.

  • Ability to analyse and present information clearly and persuasively
  • Knowledge and experience of Temporary Works Planning
  • Requirement to attend site/office twice a week
  • Excellent communication skills, including English language and visual presentations (e.g., PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and contract forms (Alliances, NEC, JCT, FIDIC)
  • Experience working with BIM, parametric estimating, and 4D planning
  • Membership of a professional body (APM, ICE, CIOB)
  • Proficient in Primavera P6
  • Formal project management qualifications such as APM or PRINCE2
  • Qualified to degree level (engineering or related discipline)
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Based in London (this year), relocating to Ipswich from next year
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI)
  • 8–10 years’ planning experience in civil construction and infrastructure projects
