Paint rail gear and motor casings using industrial equipment.

Tasks

-Monitor painting operations to identify flaws, such as blisters or streaks, and correct their causes. -Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers or power equipment using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths. -Use machines, power, and hand tools, including their designs, repair, and operator-level maintenance. This equipment will include exhaust units, respirators, robotic paint equipment, cranes, and hoist equipment -Remove grease, dirt, paint, or rust from vehicle surfaces in preparation for paint application, using abrasives, solvents, brushes, blowtorches, washing tanks, or sandblasters. -Remove accessories from equipment and mask surfaces with tape or paper to protect them from paint as required. -Mix paints to match specifications, stirring or thinning paints, and using spatulas or power mixing equipment. -Conduct 6S audits and safety walks. -Solve the world's most significant problems – Be part of exciting and innovative projects. -Appropriately dispose of hazardous waste.

What You Bring

-HS diploma or equivalent required -Basic knowledge of computer software applications. -Lean Manufacturing – Knowledge of basic lean principles and techniques for optimizing processes and eliminating waste. -Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and procedures. -Must be able to pass a basic painting skills test successfully -3+ years experience in painting similar materials -Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and their applications. -Knowledge of product, quality standards, and assembly procedures. -Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for improving the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
