  • Implement operational strategies to optimise Goldwind’s merchant position.
  • Engage with offtake counterparties, including energy and green credit supply providers, to respond to EOIs and RFPs.
  • Provide Goldwind management with market analysis to assess the value of energy and green products and support decision-making.
  • Contribute to government tender applications and submissions relating to regulatory proposals and market arrangements.
  • Support contract administration and reporting for government schemes (e.g. CIS, LTESA).
  • Work collaboratively with consultants to provide expert advice on market forecasts, revenue opportunities, and grid/loss predictions.
  • Coordinate Goldwind’s offtake and revenue strategy across multiple projects.
  • Manage spot market bidding and automated bidding platforms for Goldwind’s merchant assets and projects under Asset Services Agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with NEM requirements, including FCAS management, for Goldwind’s merchant assets.
  • Negotiate and secure offtake agreements in line with Goldwind Australia’s business strategy and project requirements.
  • Provide briefings to Goldwind management on market developments and updates.
  • Provide commercial inputs and innovative proposals to support offtake agreements and government scheme tenders (e.g. CIS, LTESA).

  • Tertiary qualifications within a commercial discipline.
  • 5 years (+) experience in the Australian electricity industry would be highly regarded.
  • Previous experience negotiating offtake agreements.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of energy as well as LGC spot, forward trading and FCAS market (regulation & contingency).
  • Previous knowledge of financial modelling and preparing financial model assumptions across various financial products.
  • Ability to thrive and collaborate within the development team, the senior management team and broader company stakeholders.
