- The Shipping Clerk I will report to the Warehouse - Shipping Supervisor and works very closely with the Procurement, Manufacturing, Service & Customer Success teams.
- Contribute key metric information and participate in Daily Management (SQDIP).
- Comply with all applicable environmental, health, safety regulations. Complete all required safety training and understand the job hazards that are assessed in the area in which work will be performed. Ensure Hazmat, DOT, and ESD guidelines are followed.
- Duties include picking customer orders, quality control, order processing, and hazmat quality control, in accordance with work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, communicating effectively with colleagues.
- Actively support and participate in a continuous improvement environment and other Lean activities through Fortive Business Systems (FBS), Kaizen, and 6S programs.

- Work experience in shipping operations
- Demonstrated experience in Oracle eBS
- Minimum 1 year working in a shipping environment.
- Multi-Modal Hazardous Material compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
- Practical knowledge of Industrial Scientific products, services and applications
- DOT, Hazmat or Multi-Modal Hazardous Material compliance
- Demonstrate the ability to work as a team player across departments and shifts.
- Familiar with Oracle EBS
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Familiar with BluJay, UPS, FedEx and DHL shipping software
- Familiar with IATA, DOT, and IMO shipping requirements
- High School or equivalent experience in shipping or warehousing.
- Basic PC and Microsoft 365 skills
