Maintain repairs and maintenance on fire extinguishers and systems is performed in accordance with NFPA-10 standards.
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures in compliance with company policy and vision.
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Clean extinguishers and recharge them with approved materials.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
Dismantle extinguishers and examine mechanical parts, extinguishing agents, and expelling means; replaces worn or damaged parts.
Inspect, repair, and test fire extinguishers using hand tools, hydrostatic test equipment, and monitoring devicesHydro-test low pressure cylinders.

Ability to carry and move equipment and tools weighing more than 50 pounds, and perform physical labor in confined spaces, at heights, and in varied conditions such as climbing ladders or working in crawl spaces.
Capable of working independently and within a team.
Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
Any relevant technical certifications in safety equipment maintenance or inspection are a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills with the ability to report issues, solve problems, and adhere to safety protocols.
Previous experience in fire safety, extinguisher maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
Understanding of safety standards, equipment maintenance, and the ability to use hand tools and testing devices.
Working conditions include restricted movement, air contamination, lifting or carrying of heavy objects.
