Accounting Manager

Description

• Review and process insurance-related information as needed.
• Evaluate, develop, and improve department controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless business operations.
• Enter monthly journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Manage bank account activity for multiple entities.
• Supervise Accounts Payable, including processing and posting payments.
• Hire, train, and motivate accounting staff.
• Oversee the daily activities of the accounting department.

Requirements

• Accounting knowledge of US GAAP.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Experience with proper procedures for month-end cut-off transactions and reconciliation of subledgers to the General Ledger.
• High level of independent work ethic and integrity.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple entities within an organization.
