Service Technician - Washington, DC (Morse Apts.)

Description

• Repair/replace locks, smoke alarms
• Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, freezing temperatures, snow removal, etc.
• Must accompany vendors in occupied units for services, including but not limited to pest control, property inspections, etc.
• Assist office staff with delivery of resident notices.

Requirements

• Plumbing/Electrical skills is a must
• Must be able to work during inclement weather.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, elevators, and energy management systems
• HVAC repairs - Active HVAC Certification & experience is a must
• Must be willing to work weekends.
• High Rise Experience preferred
• 1 to 3 years' experience in Property Management.
• Roofing inspection/minor roof repairs
• Must be able to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Experience using Yardi or other Property Management Software
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be available for night/weekend call duty.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Must be available to assist in after-hours emergency situations.
