Lead and mentor Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams to meet organizational quality goals and drive continuous improvement.

Oversee the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Manage cross-functional quality initiatives, including vendor assessments, technical problem-solving, and product assurance planning.
Supervise operations in the Metrology Lab, Plant Metallurgy Department, and Gauge & Calibration Department, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Conduct regular management meetings to align departmental objectives, review performance, and coordinate cross-departmental functions.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement company policies, procedures, and strategic quality initiatives.

Advanced mathematical skills, including statistical analysis and probability.
Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
10% travel required.
Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Application of Extrusion Business System (EBS) or Similar (Toyota Production System, 6-Sigma) methodology a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated experience in Lean manufacturing, Kaizen events, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree required in one of the Engineering Sciences or Metallurgical/ Materials Science.
Minimum 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing facility required.
Familiarity with CNC machines, specifically Haas and Mazak, including 4th axis rotary indexers.
Hands-on experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges for quality inspections.
Extrusion Process & Metallurgical Experience a plus.
Experience with Geometric and Dimensional tolerancing a plus.
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work environments with minimal supervision.
