An excellent communicator who is able to read and interpret blueprints, submittals and specifications and perform basic plumbing calculations.
Detailed knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes. (IPC, IMC, IBC, ASHRAE)
Someone with working knowledge of constructability and strong design fundamentals for mechanical and plumbing systems and installation methods required.
Experience with VRV, WSHP and DX Split systems and/or CADD/Revit experience, as well as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, is preferred.
Knowledge of HVAC load calculations using Trane Trace or similar HVAC load and energy analysis programs, as well as experience in duct sizing, layout and design for air systems.
A team player who always acts with customers in mind and thrives in a constantly changing and evolving environment and has at least three (3) years of relevant mechanical/plumbing design experience.
