Project Controls Analyst

Description

• Monitors the project schedule and provides information to the team for updating the schedule.
• Supports the Document Control processes by uploading project controls related information into the Project Management Information System.
• Analyzes cost and schedule data and prepares detailed reports for different types of stakeholders. When needed enters data into different project controls systems.
• Performs different project controls tasks under the direction of the Project Controls Manager or Project Director.
• Works with other stakeholders to collect cost and schedule information needed to create project progress reports.
• Reviews of contractor and vendor payment applications and invoices for accuracy and proper cost allocation.

Requirements

• Any experience with scheduling software or project management software is a plus. Creativity, Social and Project management.
• EXPERIENCE:0-2 Years of professional experience in a related technical field. Past internship experience in construction or with general contractors is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to write and compile reports and deliver presentations.
• Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools (strongly preferred).
• Moderate to advanced skills in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• EDUCATION: Completion of Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, finance or related program from an accredited college/university.
• Formal business and soft-skills training on topics such as time management, resilience, emotional intelligence, feedback, and communication
