The Construction Project Manager will identify required resources, act as the primary point of contact for team members and leaders, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders throughout project implementation. Responsibilities include developing and managing project plans, schedules, scopes of work, defining roles, assessing site safety, ensuring subcontractor compliance, and supporting strategy development at each phase. The manager also oversees financial aspects such as reporting, invoice processing, billing approval, change orders, and monitoring project financial performance.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience), and 3‑5 years of project management, engineering, or construction experience, preferably with a commercial general contractor. Required skills include strong understanding of drawings, specifications, contracts, critical path scheduling, client relationship management, basic estimating, and excellent communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite is required; OSHA 30 certification and professional designations such as PMP, PgMP, CPM, PE, or LEED are preferred.
The role involves an average of 25‑35% travel per month, a valid driver’s license, and personal transportation for client meetings and site visits, with reimbursement provided. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities. Physical demands align with typical construction site environments.
