Responsible for obtaining and maintaining NICET certifications and the Ohio Fire Marshal License within the required timeframe.
Work at elevated heights, including climbing ladders and operating aerial lifts as required.
Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent the company appropriately while on-site.
Work directly with customers to identify and resolve system issues in a professional and timely manner.
Participate in a 24-hour emergency on-call schedule once able to work independently.
Complete and submit all required reports and documentation to ensure compliance with NFPA reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
Support accurate project documentation by maintaining complete and timely timesheets, billing notes, rescheduling requests, and follow-up documentation.
Maintain accurate time sheets for labor tracking and job costing.
Provide technical details and recommendations to the sales department for quotation development, particularly for resolving code deficiencies or system upgrades.
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform testing and inspections on a variety of fire alarm and fire suppression systems in accordance with NFPA standards.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds and maneuver 300-lb cylinders using proper tools and techniques.
Hands-on experience working with fire alarm systems.
Must obtain a Notifier programming license within six months of entering this role.
Flexible and adaptable to changes in project scope or priorities with minimal notice.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
Company uniforms are provided and must be worn while on duty.
Must possess or be able to obtain all necessary tooling to perform job functions (tooling provided by company).
Company-issued mobile phones for work-related communication.
Ohio Fire Marshal License is preferred at hire band required within one year of employment.
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose hardware issues using multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
Work offsite at customer facilities – clean/unclean conditions, hot/cold environment.
Proven team player with a positive attitude and collaborative work ethic.
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, hard hats, and other job-specific safety gear.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background screening as required.
Demonstrate reliability by being punctual and consistently delivering a full day’s work.
Must obtain NICET Level II certification in testing and inspection within one year of promotion or hire into the position.
Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Willingness to work overtime and adjust to schedule changes as needed.
Prior customer service experience is a plus.
