  • Oversee the delivery of the projects while focused on technical excellence and client relationships.
  • Serve as project manager and/or technical subject matter expert for municipal water/wastewater treatment projects in the state of Florida. This position may support other geographies while the Florida market is being developed.
  • Train, coach, and mentor mid-level and junior design staff in developing and delivering projects. In the short term, this position will be supported by other B&N water/wastewater treatment groups with a long-term goal of developing a local team to serve area clients.
  • Support business development activities including direct client interaction and engagement. Work with B&N’s senior Florida water/wastewater staff and marketing teams to develop a plan for expanding our service offerings into the treatment market
  • Actively lead and participate in project pursuit and delivery to create an exemplary client experience

  • The ideal candidate will have the passion to build a water/wastewater treatment business in Florida to complement the existing conveyance team. Candidates should have strong technical skills, existing client relationships and a vision to increase the size of their network. Responsibilities will vary in relative volume, and change over time, but will generally include:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent engineering program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office required
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, pursuits and/or design teams
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Florida; or ability to register through reciprocity
  • 10+ years of related water wastewater experience
