Civil Infrastructure Technician

They design all elements of drainage, roads and structure working with the country’s top contractors and developers.

There will be opportunities for you to take on small projects and be responsible for both the design and details as well as their delivery.

You will be responsible for the modelling input on a number of projects and assisting with the implementation of office standards.

You will be contributing to the drawing and modelling input on civil engineering designs on roads, drainage and infrastructure on projects ranging from £1M to £300M and work alongside the senior team members.

On larger projects you will be leading on BIM matters and attending BIM workshops to coordinate with the wider design team external to Walsh as well as the structural teams internally.

You will be based in our vibrant and friendly office in London’s Butlers Wharf.

No specific academic qualifications are required but an HNC/HND or ONC/OND would be preferable. We would support any professional development and actively encourage progression to institutional membership.

You will have good 3D modelling skills, with UK experience (essential), and Microdrainage experience (desirable).

You will have good communication skills and an ability to retrieve information from others.

You will have experience detailing drainage and roads on infrastructure projects such as housing estates and inner city mixed used developments and be familiar with liaising and coordinating with numerous parties.

Competitive salary, based on experience of candidate.

37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch plus paid overtime (conditions apply). However we do offer flexible/hybrid working.
