The Foreman plays a crucial role in leading and managing assigned design and construction projects and teams. Reporting to the Superintendent, the Foreman is responsible for achieving the company’s objectives, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring project goals are met within the established schedule and budget.
The ideal candidate possesses an advanced understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and best practices, strong organizational and time‑management abilities, and proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents. They must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations, effective problem‑solving skills, and a warm managerial style.
Preferred candidates have prior supervisory experience, a proven ability to drive projects to timely, on‑budget completion, experience hiring and training workers, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and OSHA 30 certification are also desired.
