In this role you will set up and execute tests for various products using standard testing methodologies, applying practical technical knowledge and documenting test results.
Key accountabilities include designing use cases and test cases, building test benches and environments, and employing various test techniques and automation strategies. You will also plan and execute both automated and manual tests, coordinate with development teams for defect management, support the test team in execution and maintenance of automated tests, and drive root‑cause analysis to improve automation.
The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of experience with control systems such as 800xA, Centum, Experion or Delta V, along with expertise in control system deployment, HMI, and web client testing. Additional knowledge in networking, cloud, virtualization, security, SDLC, Agile, and test automation is required, as well as proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office, and preferably TFS/ALM.
