Supervisor, Project Coordination

Description

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of Senior Project Coordinators, Project Coordinators, and Assistant Project Coordinators, ensuring alignment with company goals and project delivery standards.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal documentation standards across all projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Sales, Engineering, Operations, Customer Experience) to resolve escalations and optimize project workflows.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle across multiple regions, ensuring consistent execution from sale to permission to operate (PTO).
• Serve as the escalation point for complex project issues, providing strategic guidance and resolution support.
• Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for project coordination and customer engagement.
• Report regularly to senior leadership on team performance, project pipeline health, and operational risks.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Project Coordination team.
• Monitor team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement training and development plans.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
• Experience in residential solar installation, permitting, and utility interconnection processes.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading high-performing teams, ideally in the residential solar PV + ESS sector.
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools and CRM systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams through ambiguity and change.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and risk management frameworks.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Deep understanding of customer experience principles and how they apply to project delivery.
