The Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the value of the assigned community and will step into the Maintenance Manager role whenever the manager is unavailable.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with at least one year of multifamily maintenance experience or equivalent training. EPA certification is required, CPO is preferred, and basic Microsoft Office skills and a valid driver’s license are essential.
The role requires physical abilities such as walking, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lb (heavier items with assistance), and using power tools and computers. Work is performed on‑site, often outdoors and in confined or elevated spaces, with exposure to the elements and potential hazards.
