The position will lead civil design work, act as Project Manager or Technical Lead on transport infrastructure projects, and work closely with engineers nationwide. You will also mentor junior staff, manage financial reporting and contribute to business and strategic planning for the Transport Business.
Our Transport Team is hiring an experienced Civil Engineer for Rockhampton, targeting senior engineers from Principal to Associate Director level. The role offers exposure to regionally significant transport and civil planning projects, client relationship building and people leadership. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, RPEQ registration and roughly 12 + years of consultancy, council or state‑government experience. A proven track record in design and project management of transport or civil infrastructure, deep knowledge of Australian Standards and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Leadership potential and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships are also required.
