Description

The Breakfast Attendant at Homewood Suites El Paso Airport in El Paso, Texas is responsible for preparing and presenting the breakfast buffet each morning. This includes setting up the buffet, arranging food and beverages attractively, and ensuring all serving items such as plates, cups, utensils, and napkins are ready for guests.

Throughout the service period, the attendant maintains cleanliness, monitors inventory, and responds to guest requests with a professional and friendly demeanor, following all company policies and procedures. The role also involves record‑keeping, inventory ordering, and handling any additional duties assigned by management.

• Set up the buffet before guests arrive and display food and beverages attractively.
• Clean the buffet area and tables by wiping, sweeping, and/or mopping.
• Arrange plates, cups, bowls, utensils, and napkins for guest use.
• Prepare coffee and tea according to established standards.
• Keep juices and other perishables chilled or on ice.
• Monitor food supply levels and replenish items efficiently.
• Maintain buffet cleanliness throughout the morning, reorganizing as needed.
• Dispose of used plates, utensils, napkins, and cups properly.
• Remove leftover food at shift end, clean the area, and stock inventory for the next day.
• Record daily or weekly food usage and consumption as required.
• Order additional food and supplies to keep inventory stocked when necessary.
• Greet guests and accommodate special requests.
• Maintain a professional appearance and dress at all times.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
