Budgeting & Forecasting Support - you’ll assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis against actuals
Audit Support - you’ll assist in external audit processes by providing samples, documentation, and reconciliations
Compliance and Controls - you’ll ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Month-End Close - you’ll prepare monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations for prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets, ensuring deadlines are met.
Inventory and Cost Management - you’ll work with supply chain and operations teams to maintain stock registers and manage accruals for cost of goods sold
Cash Flow Monitoring - you’ll help track and report on cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability
Financial Reconciliation - you’ll support monthly reconciliation of inventory, COGS, balance sheet, and other expenditure items
Cost Analysis and Reporting - you’ll analyse cost trends and provide insights to improve efficiency and profitability
Process Improvement - you’ll act as a visible ambassador at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, showcasing Pod’s innovation and leadership
Ad Hoc Analysis - you’ll identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, including IFRS
Newly qualified or Part qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
Familiarity with inventory accounting and cost management.
Experience in month-end close, journal postings, and reconciliations

Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
Experience in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
SAP experience is an advantage
